Capital city Drift happened last Friday and as James gets the Speed Hero coverage post organized I must share my fun. After some changes in staffing in multiple and odd ways, I decided to, whether it was welcomed I'm unsure, take a big part of the organization of the event. Life is a bit funny, the track we rent, Western Speedway, often has a slew of crushable cars sitting in their lot for different demo days. One of these was a near new looking '80 Corolla sedan with Quad headlights. Luckily for me, life works in mysterious ways. We had left notes, and spoke with staff on multiple occasions to obtain the car. Months of these communications but to no avail. Oddly enough, during the event Warren spoke with a staff member at the track who gave us the go-ahead to strip the car of the parts we wanted. I was running around with my head cut off, learning how shit works as we were doing it. Acacia, Warren, and Derek were nice enough to rip the car apart for me. Colby gave me a hand installing the nose yesterday. Was this the force of Karma, or am I just a luck SOB? And yes my mom never married. I have really awesome friends.
