Capital D, practice makes...well...
The Capital D season is over for the year as you may have noticed by the mayhem at the end of September and if you didn't, you haven't been following Speed Hero. We forgive you, this time. 
Over the off season there are a number of practice days, like today, a free for all of noobs and veterans trying to hone their skills are find a reason for an engine swap or new platform all together.

You Dirty Rat!
Took a while, but the internet moguls finally decided on a term. "Rat-Look" is a modern take on the ever so famous rat rod, but the requirements of a light chassis and a big motor crammed in seem to have dissipated from the once functional, and very much O.G. "Rad Rod". Still interesting none the less, but I will always find the latter term more interesting, no matter how excited I get for VW caddies rolling past me with little to no sheen.
Hell Comes to Drift Town.
If you're going to have a small Toyota meet, you might as well do it in the middle of a hurricane. The weather was intense, huge winds and damn cold but with Paul down from Calgary, we had to roll out. 
Warren was out in his 86, White, stripped and now rolling on some new 14 x 7 diamonds. Jeff was doing his best impression of a hovercraft, floating just barely off the pavement.

Inspiration 3: more trucking
I'm a massive truck/ute/camino conversion lover. Something about the class and practicality of a car and a truck mashed into one, especially with the performance of a race car is *shudders with pleasure* amazing. 
This is a few random photos of a truck I've collected and been trying to find information on. Sadly I don't know who's it is or where it is now. All I know is it's not dead and still in use.
