Today on a drive up north thoughts were buzzing about in my brain, as usual, causing a headache. My train of thought seemed to whiz past an abandoned drag strip in the back corner of my mind. It's not something I think about often, sure I was around during the mid and late 90's when "Sport Compact" classes suddenly lit up with a huge number of competitors. Too much wrenching, not enough driving. I've spent my last two months with nearly no seat time. Constantly wrenching on project with no reward. My wagon? A mysterious mess of engine troubles. It's strange, it just won't run right, perhaps it needs a bigger carb with the upped compression, however I have a feeling I'm just missing something very basic and fundamental. There's a new motor sitting and waiting to be dropped in, but alas no tools to lift it in. Robins car is done for now, some cool mud flaps, wheels and decals will come eventually. Big things are...
