British Columbia celebrated, oh I don't even know, some birthday or something. All I know: drifting. Although a small crowd of spectators, the driving for this extra long Capital City Drift day were out in strong numbers with a great showing from the mainland. An oddly smooth, yet overly simplistic track layout seemed to suit both the under and over powered cars quite well even with the final being dominated by pony filled Jap Scrap. We had the regular bunch of hobo's running the show with some new faces, things went fairly smoothly. Overall a decent day from a judges...
Hiroshima Speedway Circuit
Although named similar, Speedhunters delivers pretty decent photograghs, generally the stories arn't to great. I find that they sometimes miss the good shit. Case in point, their recent coverage of a Celica by a group called Hydraulic Drifter Oldies. A post made a while back about their famous and crazy chopped roof Levin pickup showed a glimpse of a new drift track and what appears to be the home of HDO, Hiroshima Speedway Circuit!
Sadly I don't have the huge production...Wagons for our hearts & other FR converts.
A Toyota Caldina GT, basically a wagon body slapped on a ST205 AWD Celica chassis from factory. This one? Converted to RWD.
