All Japanese Show n' Shine

It was a grey day spent in Gyro park. Luckily the rain was happy to drool lightly over the hot cars without giving us the full shower it was threatening. The Vancouver Island Datsun Enthusiasts put on a well organized and entertaining show and the crowd exceeded everyone's expectations. I have a ton of shots to go through so for now I'll leave this rarity for all you wacky convertible fans. Possibly the only Soarer Aerocabin in North America.


D is for Decimation

Capital Drift season two started off with the screech of tires and the screech of metal on concrete. There was some uncertainty going into the first event as many of the top performers from last season are still wrapped up in their new builds. Luckily their were plenty of new comers to fill their spots. The word for the day was Nissan with 240's dominating the field broken up by a couple of more colourful...


Back in the Day

Last Friday of course. Capital Drift was asked to put on a small drift demo for the crowd to try and spread the word of drift. Justin from Cap D captured some of the chaos.

Watch it, and make sure you come out to see it in person next time you're anywhere near the west coast.


Spotted Mail Box

The mail is delivered rain or shine, and so are Some of my friends, including their '80 corolla wagon! Check a Victoria mail box near you! Hmm, seems unassuming, however, Coldstar Mike day, seemed to have a better eye than I. Who is dat?! Why it's Josh (Baldtires) and Derrick (SquirrellyToyota)...
