Daikoku Futo rest stop is one of those mystical mecca's of car culture. You've seen it in videos and magazines, it's been immortalized in manga. It sits on some island outside of time and space somewhere between Tokyo and Yokohama.
Of course we ended up there mid-week which made for a mediocre mecca but it was still great to be there and bask in our geeky glory. A GTR also helps.
