James and I are pretty decent at this thing your reading now. We recently had a nice big road trip and a few important things were discussed. Both he and i want to go bigger and better, but we don't have the resources. Time and finances are a big issue, and although obvious, are difficult to solve. Many local events keep springing up, but without decent camera equipment and the ability to replace one set of working duties for another,or blog has hit it's peak, and we'd like to climb higher.
I want, and will continue to want to build suspension components and eventually get into designing and building coach built specialty cars. Limited production, small runs of lightly modified new retail cars for sale to the public through dealerships. Each day I feel the leather in my palms, the weight, resistance of the wheel turning in each direction. the surge forward upon the gas pedal, the nose dive and turn in of the corner entry, whether drifting or not, I enjoy being behind the wheel of a my own creation. I'm not unlike many others before me, but alas I can't, I will not, I refuse to fall into excuses not to be racing and yet here I am, at a computer talking about cars rather than racing them. What's the secret?
the blog is a great outlet, car culture is deep, and it gets cloudier the further I look below, I just seem to float along the top, swim down a bit and have to come back up for air..whether I like it or not. James and I are moved out west to dive more into the culture of cars, and it has been very rewarding, but I want more, and I know James does too. So I ask you, do you have ideas, leads and information of how to swim deeper? Brainstorming is a favorite of mine.
