I was hanging out with a lovely person, not attuned to car culture. It was her first drift day; she had a lot of fun. I remember specifically her words. I think I dream of a social situation where I'm free to study and practice the art of shape and form. Independently come to a conclusion of well documented discovery of beauty, share findings. I wish I could study these things, and report to the world with my own mind and personality as the filter of my report. As a lowly work-a-day fella, this seems like an alternate universe of an alternate reality. Some call it maturity to tone down your imagination, accept life as it is, and live it out till the end in a quaint humbleness. This reality...

As a reader you might be sick of hearing about it; my distaste for the vision available in new vehicles. I continue to feel strong about this topic. It's recently rehashed with my new career as a professional driving instructor.
